December often sees cancellations of singings for holidays or sickness, so many folks are excited to get back to it in the new year. There are some great regional singings coming up:
January 3-5th – VPH All Day Weekend
The Shenandoah Harmony website was just updated with a full itinerary of the weekends events. This will be a BIG sing for the new book The Valley Pocket Harmonist.

January 7th – Richmond 1st Tuesday Singing.
January 11th – Easton Montly Shenandoah Singing
January 13th – Baltimore 2nd Monday – Love Astounding
Join us for a unique opportunity to sing “Love Astounding,” a poem by Jeanette M. Lindholm set to the tune of “Holy Manna” from The Sacred Harp. This event is part of the Songs for the Holy Other: Hymns Affirming The LGBTQIA2S+ Community project, and we will be recording this powerful tune in our traditional style. A portion of our regular sing will be set aside for the audio and video recording, otherwise we will sing as normal from The Shenandoah Harmony and The Sacred Harp.
